It has been a couple of months since my last entry. Well ... many changes have occurred in my life. Some gud some bad... I got promoted to be working in the highroller's club at the Venetian, well... my job is similar to Casino Marketing Coordinator. It is a better pay & more interesting job than a hostess of a restaurant. I am really lucky to be promoted, and working in the highroller club as a coordinator has made me learn so much about hotel operations, and casino marketing. However, I am working in graveyard shift right now... (10pm to 6am) so.. My social life is gone ... no more going to Bars, no more clubbing on the weekend, no more shopping at the mall... my life now.. is only watching TV for one & a half hours before I start getting ready to work (@ 8pm). Hmm.. I don't get to hang out with my family much.. since my schedule is totally the opposite to them & I dont usually wake up until 4- 5 pm... kinda sucks.. but very soon I will move to swing shift & I get to choose to work 10 hrs a day... so I will have 3 days off.. HAHHA In October or November, Venetian will open up a new tower called the Palazzo. Palazzo will be a individual casino attached to Venetian, so there will be a lot of opportunity, and it will open up the Casino Host position which I was thinking about trying out for. Being a host is really tempting for me coz I will be making so much more $$... but it will be a 24/7 job & a lot more pressure. on the other side, I have decided to go back skool, going for Nursing. High Demand job, and I will have a chance to work at the hospital... well.. It will take me another 2 -3 yrs to finish... but.. I really wanna go back to the hospital.. save some lives.. Well.. recently I am going through a lot of family problems too.. sigh... Super depresed man.. Congratulation to Alfred... He graduated from Cal State LA... shame on me.. didnt get to attend his ceremony, and shame on me again.. that I haven't even get to transfer.. so this YEAR OF PIG... me going to be 24 yrs old... will battle with college again.. and hopefully ... It will get me somewhere.. my mind has pointed me to... Also, thank you alfred for stopping by Vegas for visit.. it is fun to get drunk with you at TAO... kaka... |
